Welcoming to Our Neighbors

Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.   - Romans 13:8

One of the tenets of the Capital Campaign is to make St. Andrews welcoming to our neighbors. Funds raised will be used to make the altar accessible to parishioners requiring wheelchairs, walkers, or who simply feel a bit unsteady on their feet. Landscape design improvements in front of the church will be in keeping with the beloved look of our historical structure, while making entry through the red doors safe, inviting, and accessible to all.

The committee remains hard at work visiting parishioners. Many thanks to all who have pledged or who are still prayerfully discerning what they are able to give.

Stained Glass Windows

John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

St. Andrew’s glorious stained-glass windows date from 1889-1896. From our parish survey we know that their beauty is one of the most cherished aspects of our sanctuary. Thanks to funds being raised for the Capital Campaign, local stained glass will carefully remove the colored glass pieces from the original lead, clean the pieces, and then reset them in sturdy new lead. God’s resplendent light will continue to grace our sanctuary for generations to come!
