At St. Andrew’s, all are welcome to receive the bread and wine of Holy Eucharist, and to participate fully in our liturgy – the pattern of worship that forms the core of our common life. Our worship includes praise and prayer, song and silence, Scripture and our sacramental sharing in the Eucharistic feast.
Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist (Rite I): A simple and beautiful worship experience, in friendly company. Stay on afterwards for the 9am fellowship and education hour, or head home with the full day still ahead of you.
Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist (Rite II): Â Warm and lively Episcopal worship, with hymns sung by all and anthems from our choir. Get to know us by sharing our worship, then by staying on to share food and fellowship at Coffee Hour in the Great Hall!
Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Holy Eucharist: This is an intimate, peaceful gathering for simple worship, in our Library Chapel.
Coming in January
Winter Green Worship: To conserve energy, we will be closing our main sanctuary for a period of 6 to 8 weeks, starting in January, and hold all of our services in the Great Hall. We did this in the winter of 2009, and found that we both saved money (and fuel), and enjoyed the gifts of worship in a different space! For more information, see our Winter Green Worship Catechism.
Evening Eucharist: Â Also in January, we plan to start a regular 5pm Sunday evening Eucharist in the Great Hall. Our worship will be a little more informal and contemporary, drawing on music, worship texts and practices from Episcopal and Anglican churches around the country and around the world. If you’re snowed in one morning, or out skiing all day, come join us and try it out!
