On Welcome Sunday, following the 10:00 am service, our annual Ministry Fair will be held in the Great Hall where you will be able to learn more about each of the committees or groups within the parish, ask questions, and consider joining a ministry or committee. Are you interested in helping in the nursery or teaching church school? Do you like to make soup or sing or weed a garden? Find out how your talents would be of benefit to our parish.
In addition, you will be asked to recommend a friend or friends who you think would be eminently suited to be part of a specific ministry or committee. Each of us will have a chance to recognize the gifts of a relative, friend, or neighbor by using the ‘Call by Name’ form to point out the skills someone else has to offer in God’s service. This can be done anonymously, so begin mentally to make your list! Be creative and especially include the newcomers who are just beginning to feel a part of this wonderful community.
